Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023)
The DCEU has always been in the shadow of Marvel’s main stars, but the Shazam! franchise has been an underrated gem since it was first adapted for film in 2019. This sequel, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, just came out in theaters in March 2023, but it can already be bought or rented on Amazon. It continues the story of Billy Batson (Asher Angel) and his friends, foster children who have the ability to become super-powered heroes with the simple use of the titular word. The first film received greater acclaim, but this sequel is sure to satisfy a movie fan who wants a lazy Saturday with some easy superhero viewing. This is probably the best Amazon Prime movie for those who want something that came out recently.

Creed (2015)
When this spinoff of the Rocky films released in 2015, some people were a little anxious at the thought of someone besides Sylvester Stallone taking over as the star of the famous fighting franchise. It turns out that there was absolutely nothing to fret over. With supporting efforts from Stallone, Michael B. Jordan delivered a powerful and lasting impression on audiences as Adonis Creed. The movie led to a couple of successful sequels, the latest of which just released in theaters earlier in 2023.
